## Purpose

Big Bend Wild exists to share the natural character, peace and remarkable quiet of Far West Texas.

Most audio recordings on the site are recorded personally by the site creator, who lives in the greater Big Bend region. Many photographs and videos are also original. When outside photographs are used to help illustrate or identify a bird or animal, the photographer, source and applicable license are credited with the image.

A phrase that captures the spirit of the project is:

"You can hear the earth turn."
